Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 120 km (2–3 hours) from Arusha.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its magnificent baobab trees, large elephant populations, and the Tarangire River, which attracts thousands of animals throughout the year. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park while searching for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, warthogs, and over 550 bird species.
In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey covers approximately 205 km (5–6 hours) with beautiful views along the way.
Upon entering Serengeti National Park, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless golden plains. Serengeti is one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations and is home to the legendary Great Migration, involving millions of wildebeests and zebras moving in search of fresh grazing. The park also supports healthy populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and many other wildlife species.
Arrive at your camp before sunset.
Dinner and Overnight: Moyo Tented Camp or similar.
Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active, followed by breakfast at the camp.
Continue exploring Serengeti before departing in the afternoon toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy additional wildlife sightings while crossing one of the most scenic safari routes in Tanzania.
The Serengeti ecosystem is renowned for its endless plains, dramatic landscapes, abundant predators, and exceptional photographic opportunities.
Arrive at your lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater in the evening.
Dinner and Overnight: Lodge near Ngorongoro Crater or Karatu.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a memorable game drive.
Known as the world's largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater supports one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife. It is one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino while also offering excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, flamingos, and many other bird species around Lake Magadi.
After enjoying a picnic lunch inside the crater, begin your return journey to Arusha, approximately 190 km (3.5–4 hours) away, arriving in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
